Total Loss Valuations

A documented, consistent service history can support a higher valuation in a total loss claim, since it demonstrates the vehicle was properly maintained rather than neglected — insurers do factor this into valuation assessments.

Modifications and Disclosure

If your car has been modified in any way, most policies require this to be disclosed — an unrelated claim can still be complicated if an undisclosed modification comes to light during the assessment process.
